January
The year started off with a brr, at +1F for the high. The chill would continue into the first week of the year.
My cousin's MIL passed away after dealing with dementia for years.
By the 8th, we finally get above 20F.
Thanks to Valerie Bertinelli, my mom gets on TV.

Mom and I spend New Year's doing our DNA spit tests. A few days later, we get dad to do it, and I hear about what really happened when I was born.
In preparation for the 30th anniversary of camp, I pull out The Song.
Putting away Christmas means reorganizing part of the kitchen.

After going multiple Saturdays in a row to clean it out, we call it a day at my grandfather's apartment. Meanwhile, my mom starts having her own fun as the executor of the will.

I get a brand-spanking-new cable box. Oh, all the new channels.
Winter does its best to prevent me from going to work.
My dad randomly fixes our utensil drawer in the kitchen so that it actually works.
Band starts prepping for the Texas trip in July, and we get a scary Russian piece with super high notes.
